I’ve had an awful experience with servers after the patch, nothing but 60+ ping servers in which feel like I’m on 200 ping. A way to test your delay is to use the ping marker in game and its roughly .5-1 second of a delay after I press it to when it actually displays the ping.
Hit reg/Melee Blanks are also at an all time high for me. Every once in a while it would happen but it’s almost every single game I’m experiencing one of these alongside desync.
Has anyone else experienced similar problems since the patch?
I think threads like these benefit a lot from people giving info on their platform too.
I’m on an Xbox Series X with a hard wired connection.
My buddies and I played a bunch of games last night, and had an awesome time. One buddy in one game went 0-12, and it seemed like he was just getting screwed by the server (he kept having blank melee’s, and nades taking him out from super far away).
Seemed like a better experience, but honestly didn’t feel much different
My buddy I was playing with was having no problems which is weird because It was REALLY bad for me. I reset my internet and PC just to make sure and had no difference in experience… played about 5-6 matches all super laggy and having hit reg issues, my ping was around 60-80.
I would crash occasionally before the patch but I’m crashing at an insanely high rate compared to previously. It’s making me tank rating and destroying my CSR/Hidden MMR. Over the past few days I’ve probably crashed 10-15 times in Ranked.
Playing on Xbox series X it seems that every time I play this game in particular now the console is overheating. I have the console for more than a year and never heard the fans until this weekend. Didn’t notice any ganeplay improvement with the update besides the overheating issue.
got a timeframe from 5-7 pm where it works quiet well, after that the desync, broken melee and lag is just awful. didn’t expect anything else from this „developer“
I haven’t been playing infinite for awhile so I thought I’d try it out since this past update.
I didn’t notice any changes other than big team works more frequently. I still have at least 1 obvious case of desync in every game I played (probably 10 or so matches) which is why I stopped playing this in the first place. I also had enemies melee’s miss a few times as well (lucky me).
After this update I have been getting the worst games I’ve ever had. Usually I can get a decent couple of matches during peak traffic, but I did not have a single game today where I did not die while watching enemies shoot 10 ft to the left of me or such.
Today has been horrible for me. I melee somebody with no shield and they somehow don’t die, and I’m constantly getting shot from behind walls? That and every other rank game I have a teammate that leaves(thinking they lag out) wtf is going on was not having these problems this often before
After every “update” it seems like the game gets more and more broken. I play on pc and when the multiplayer came out early it worked perfect for me. After the update came to add in the tactical slayer and other playlists is when it started going completely downhill. I’ve done everything I can on my end to try and solve it myself but nothing works. Nothing changed in my setup between the time multiplayer was released and the time my issues with the game got worse. It’s all on 343s side. I love halo but this game is just straight broken
tin foil theory here but i’m under the impression that desync and hit reg or at least hit reg is controlled by the SBMM algorithm
I personally have been in games where there has been 0 hit reg problems at the start and my team is stomping, like goose egg/ breadstick/ steak level stomping, then at about halfway through my team starts having hit reg issues and the other team absolutely crushes us
