Game doesn't even launch on steam

Downloaded the game on steam with the key I got and clicked “PLAY” and nothing happens, the game wont even launch at all.

had the same, moved these out of the base folder
XalClockSkew.json
game_Release.exe.asr
and got it running again

also tried running using
game_Release.exe

Dont see the XalClockSkew.json file.
