Game director confirmed to appear at E3 2019

In a Gamespot article published on February 26th it was mentioned that Bonnie Ross confirms Halo Infinite director Chris Lee will talk about the game at E3 2019.

What do we want to see or hear? I would like to see him present an elevator pitch of sorts, reiterating their vision for the final product. A short pitch that clearly and without marketing speak informs us on what they’re developing, that would be grrreat.

no surprise that the game would be at e3 that was a given

Same

Beta announcement would be killer to me. I, and everyone else certainly can’t wait to get a chance to “feel” the game.

I’m hoping they announced the first flight tests for Halo Infinite. I read that the game will release in 2020 as an exclusive launch title for the next generation of Xbox. I just want to play a new Halo game already.

I understand that development takes time and Halo Infinite should be more refined than any other Halo due to the extra time given, but the community has been dry since Halo 5.

Its past time for them to talk about the mechanics direction and show some gameplay. This community needs to know if we are getting a classic halo again or if we are getting another halo 5 (sprint etc) or something in the middle.

It will not be be an exclusive to next generation Xbox.Frank O’Connor said it will come out on Xbox One.

Of course they’re gonna be at E3 to talk about the game. There was no way they were gonna announce the game last year and not show up this year. Curious what they’re gonna talk about. Hope it’s something like the flight program begins sometime that week or even after the conference.

certainly plausible im betting talking a bit about the story show some gameplay at least and probably reveal a release window along with a date for beta/flight tests to begin

Not surprised. Halo infinte is definitely going to have a major presence at e3 this year so i bet they want to have all the big names present

I know that stated this but I highly doubt the Xbox One will be able to play Halo Infinite to its full capabilites. Unless they have a way to reduce the graphics such as on PC.

During the engine demo it was confirmed for Xbox and Windows. It will probably run at sub 1080p and sub 60 FPS for the regular Xbox One and higher for the S and X. I doubt any features would be kept exclusive to the next version of Xbox.

Then what would be the point of getting an upgraded Xbox?

New Campaign trailer, followed by Multiplayer/beta trailer with, “The Beta Is Out Now!” At the end. We can only hope.

I won’t be shocked if the trailer they show have a sort of story teaser.

Maybe he’ll confirm more trees are in the game.

Same point as getting the Xbox X, it’s pointless unless you have a 4K HDR tv imo, we have four consoles in the house, my now (spare) day one replaced by my X for the 4K HDR tv in the living room, and my sons each have an S hooked up to 1080p LCD tvs. As for E3 ? I want real game footage, and I also want to know about reqs, rng, micro transactions, and any other money making schemes they have.

It is not pointless without a 4K tv. I have gone through the basic, the S, and now have the X. I also have 4 Xbox’s in the household, 2 S’s and 2 X’s. There is a decrease in loadtimes and overall performance of games. Visuals are not the only thing that hardware improves. I would prefer Halo Infinite to be an exclusive for the next console just for the fact that keeping it on old generation lessens its potential capabilites.

It is pointless imo. Sure you will get slightly improved loading times, but the visuals will be restricted to what tv you use. If your tv is 1080p a 4K console will still display in 1080p. Halo Infinite has been confirmed to be an Xbox One title. I think it will be a cross gen release, but it’s not going to be next gen exclusive. As for the topic of the thread, I want real game footage, and I also want to know about reqs, rng, micro transactions, and any other money making schemes they have.
