I recently started playing Halo Wars around 4-20-2012 (I bought it at release, just haven’t picked it back up in awhile) and I have noticed that my game data and service record are not saving…anything. Every time I back out of the game, either by powering off or going to xbox home, and go back to play my progress resets completely.
This is very frustrating as I had it beat on heroic solo with all skulls and data packages. Now, everything routinely erased and there is no hope of completing it on legendary or coop. It should be noted that all title updates have been applied, as well as both map packs and collectible skins from the collectors edition.
Is anybody experiencing this as well? Is there any solution? I have deleted/re-download my profile, cleared cache, but have seen no results.
The same thing is happening to me as well.
I played Halo wars back when it came out and had no problem. Then got the game again and now everytime I go to Xbox home or turn my xbox off, everything resets, stats, skulls, black boxes.
Would love to find out what is wrong.
It’s good to hear that I am not alone. It’s very disappointing as I will not be able to complete it on legendary. Googling the problem brought me nothing except one unanswered question on Yahoo answers. Upon searching today, this thread is the first result to bring up this problem.
What i dont understand is that it is not happening on my brothers xbox. His xbox saves everything.
Mine i transferred all the data over from another xbox when i got mine, including the halo wars data. I was able to start at my save but all the other missions were unavailable, I saw that part coming.
But the next day no data was saved except the save from the night before. If i load that then all the missions are available. But none of my skulls and black boxes and points are all zero.
I have tried deleting all the files from my xbox, and restarting. Nothing works
