please help find a fix for this, im on pc and the game is getting unbearable
They won’t do it. Even during quarantine with some gaming companies trying to pump out even more content for people over this time 343i does NOT care about Halo Wars 2. It has a memory leak on their new map for crying out loud.

I’m not trying to jump in front of the bus to defend 343i, but the issue although prevalent, doesn’t occur in the majority of gamer’s experiences. Okay, the Fort Jordan bug is odd, but just don’t play Fort Jordan.
They’ve also stated multiple times that it’s not just a little fix, it’s a pretty massive overhaul and deep dive required to patch this. Although I haven’t ever experienced any issues, for the sake of all my fellow gamers I hope it does get fixed sometime so the game is playable and accessible to all. However, with the push towards MCC updates and PC additions, as well as Xbox Series X and Halo : Infinite, it isn’t a total surprise that this has been relegated to the back burner for a bit.

Where have they stated anywhere that its an extremely difficult thing to fix and leave broken for 2 years. I don’t think they’ll come back to this game even after they finish MCC PC or Infinite. We’re extremely lucky to get 1 small balance patch a year and the last patch we got while did answer some things that players complain about. They also did some really dumb stuff like make the best 6 o’clock nuke in the game instant. I really hope I’m wrong about all of this but with how they treat this game.

I think it’s hard to say. I think a lot of it depends on the post game support of Infinite as well as the story details of Infinite.
Personally, I think there will be a Halo Wars 3, in which case, there should be some sort of patch or update to the game so that it’s accessible for everyone to catch up on the story before it drops. However - in the event that it’s not (in other words, the sequel to HW3 is essentially Halo Infinite) - I think the possibility any kind of fix happens decreases exponentially.
