Before 343 releases any more content, they need to fix this major issue. The game hard crashes every few warzone matches. If i open the req store or a gold pack, it crashes. It used to be every 12 hours, now its every few matches.
Halo 5 is already 82 GB and its obvious the XB1 can’t support it

Xbox turns back on quickly, because it was never off to begin with. Just powered down.

Perhaps you could give me a solution to this problem? I deal with it every single day.
Not as bad as Chief collection. H5 soft crashes; it just closes the game. MCC hard crashes as well; it freezes, buzzes at ya, and gives you a heart attack.
Just restart the console

Reboot your router
Hard reset your Xbox
Try Ethernet, with an open nat. The game performs much better wired.
My friends and I have thrown around the idea that it’s because of how many reqs we have. The most common circumstance under which my game crashes is when I press Y to go to the req menu. It’s the same for my friends.

That’s interesting. I have everything. I have alot of everything, I always y, to open the dwp, in WZ. No issues. It has happened in arena this month, once. I always unlock the dwp right away to us the XP boosts.

It’s still incredibly annoying.
It crashes way more often for me if I enter a party
I was gonna post something about this in general but didn’t want to be stoned to death. Granted I don’t absolutely love the pants off halo 5 (least favorite of mine), but it’s still the game I play when I want to kick back. The reason I’ve about completely uninstalled the game is because I can’t even get a match in before something goes wrong: try to get in a playlist and have errors left and right, get into searching for a game and it freezes up and kicks me out, the worst lag i’ve ever seen and then getting kicked out of game, trying to pop over onto warzone and have to play the whole match with an AR and pistol because I can’t get into reqs. Is it just me? Are these all just small random issues that happen EVERYDAY to me? I know my internet isn’t the culprit because i can perfectly stream netflix/hbo go before and after trying to play halo while on my phone with zero issues. The worst part is the more the updates have come along the more and more frequent these things happen. I’m literally lucky to get a match in before one of these numerous things happen. I hard reset my xbox, but it gets annoying having to go reset it every 10 minutes just to play a quarter maybe a half a match.
This issue happens everyday to me when I average opening 3 or more gold packs. It simply boots me to the home screen and I have to re-load the game and then attempt to open the gold pack again.
mine seems to crash as well, usually after 10 or so games of warzone.
Happens to me also. I can’t open two silver packs in a stretch of 4-6 warzone games cuz it just restarts my whole xbox

Yes, because restarting the CONSOLE will fix the game inside of it.
Ok what i have found is that if u browse too much or look at stuff on ur Xbox dashboard it tends to do this! My solution that seems to fix this unless i start browsing again is i go to advance settings scroll down and clear the cache and do a restart. … u have to do the restart or it won’t clear it! Once u do this it should be fine and fix the problem! Just to double check ur connection do an advanced internet test . … it’s also found in the network settings! Hope this helps some of you.
