Dear god. Halo crashed 2 separate times hours apart and I get an instant matchmaking ban. This -Yoink!- is getting so old. Lack of updates for a “live service” game, desync, game crashes, etc. The list of what is wrong with this game goes on and on. No wonder the population struggles to get above 5k.
There needs to be some built in check to see whether it was a crash or ragequit. I was unfairly banned for a flurry of crashes recently. I understand penalising the latter.
100% guys its a mess
Well that’s just too bad…
Have you tried sending in a report so they can tell you why your machine handles the game so poorly perhaps?
I found a way to stop all crashing and I guarantee this fix works, and it’s very simple…
Right click on Halo Infinite, select uninstall and confirm.
Over 250k people on Steam have done this fix and they haven’t had any crashing since.
I opened a support ticket but haven’t had a response yet, I suspect because of the Easter break.
Well, hopefully they’ll help you out soon
You get banned as well for quitting a 4v2 because you dont wanna sit 10 minutes on a plate.
By now Im pretty sure only a handful of 343 devs can code an if loop.
The game needs to handle everything to do with match disconnects far better.
Competitive doesn’t punish anyone for quitting a match anywhere near as hard as it should, and casual games punish you far too harshly for an internet drop. It’s a joke.
I’d honestly prefer if there was 0 punishment for leaving casual matches. At least everyone could just quit and the match wouldn’t count for anything if one team has a leaver.
When they first started testing it abandonment penalties, people would disconnect their ethernet modems from the xbox’s ( or hit their modems lag switch )P to get around being banned for leaving matches. This is why they just treate all leaves as if you rage quit a match.
If your ok with spending more time searching for matches then actually playing in them for the second part, wanting 0 punishments for leaving casual matches that is. Or you’d be a fill in every game, fixing the match the game abandoner broke at least.
