I can’t play anymore, the game crashes and closes after pressing start and trying to enter the initial menu, you know if 343 is going to release any updates about it (or if there is any way to get around it).
This Same issue has just started happening with me, I have a XBox One S and a physical Disk, Been like this since the last update I can’t log in with my HaloBaLLs88 account at all, I can log in offline or with a new Profile though and works fine, Anyway I have imagined to log into this game has resulted in a crash just after I press either Start or A lasting about 8 seconds, There is usually a sync up just starting but it’s never enough time to complete, seems from some postings that the PC version is able to sync before crashing completely, But they were in 2019, I’m in the UK

Changing my region to America and enabling read from game has solved it for me thanks 
For me too, but still can’t play with my region switched back to PL. I’ll have to leave it on US for now and hope for the fix from 343 in upcoming patch, I think.

I tried the Companion apps method and that did not work. The only fix that worked for me was switching to US region. This issue really needs fixed.
I have this problem too, just made a fresh install but the issue is still there
I have this issue too. I thought it was my PC acting up (had a ton of issues with Game Pass) so I downloaded the game on Xbox only to find it hard crashing there after pressing start. I’ll try changing my PC region to US.
If you have access to an Xbox console, please follow the steps below:
- Sign in to the profile that is affected by this issue - Navigate to the console’s settings menu - Navigate to the tab labeled “Ease of Access” - Open the “Game Transcription” menu - If either of the following settings are enabled, please disable them: “Speech-to-text on” and “Text-to-speech on” - Additionally, you may want to try adjusting the following settings: changing the selected “Text-to-speech” voice and disabling “Let games read to me” - Please relaunch the Master Chief Collection and attempt to sign-in again.
