whenever i finish a game it crashes afterwards and i need to restart it. and when restarting theres a blackscreen for half a minute before it actually opens. is there any solution to this? also when im ingame and use the chat theres a black window popping up above the map how can i get rid of that. and on top of all these things the game sometimes lags (only 20fps or so) despite having quite good specs (game on ultra high graphics, sometimes it lags sometimes it doesnt, uses up about half my cpu and 80% of my gpu). please help with this it really can ruin the fun of the game
The crash after a game is a bug. Probably noted by 343i by now.
The black screen was addressed in the latest patch notes.
I believe if you press the “O” key, it will close the transparent box you’re speaking of.
The multiplayer frame rate drops are a result of server issues as far as I am aware.

alright thank you very much for clearing that up and for the trick with the o key <3
Is there anything that we can do to prevent the “bug” (maybe some known trigger)?
The last two games, I played 3v3 AI and after we win and can see the statistics, it crashes.
That by itself would be ok, but even though we won, after the crash (befor you enter the main menu) it will count as lose.
I asked the Xbox support if there is a way to reset/ correct it, since you can check your past games at the Halo App -> Halo Wars 2 -> See More Stats -> Game Hystory when you see the overview it says lose, but if you show all details from the game you can see that it is actually a win, sadly they can’t (as I thought) not access the data to change it and no way to reset. For more help/someone who could change that, I should ask in the Forums, where I already exchanged thoughts about it.
I hope this “bug” will be fixed soon, i don’t even mind the crash, just that my daily/weekly missions won’t be completed and my statistics show a small win percentage because it counts the AI fights as loses. I don’t even want to start normal MP becuase of this problem.

My last two 1V1 games have been wins, they crashed after the score board. They still count as wins though.
I shouldn’t worry about losses at this juncture. Ranked is not yet active and I hope 343i will reset people’s statistics, on the PC at least.
It appears to be hit or miss as to whether it will crash or not.
I guess the lose after actual win is not a problem with the crash, i just got a lose even after the game got me back into the main menu.
