So i opened a gold card and right before I got to see what was inside the game crashed. what I saw before I crashed was a Legendary armor piece but when I booted the game back up the armor is gone
Am I screwed out of getting this again?
You’re not the only one this happened to, game crashes have happened to me multiple times and I have tried every suggestion/solution in Microsoft’s help article concerning game crashes/freezes to try and fix it. Unfortunately though, I can’t quite say I have lost anything that I know of yet because usually when it happens to me, it usually lets me keep all of it. However, I could be wrong and I think this could be the result of corrupted data, OS, or perhaps even my network (as this has happened on both of my Xbox One consoles). At this point though, I’m not even sure 343 is going to look at this issue considering I guess they have more important things to do.
Hey folks, when this issue happens don’t worry as you will still gets your items form the packs. The game simply skips over the opening animation for the pack, the items are automatically dropped into your REQ inventory. You can hard reset your console (not just restart the game) or check your REQ inventory here on Waypoint and look for any new items
@stckrboy Yeah but how do you explain the issues I experience as soon as I start the game? Lately I’ve been experiencing issues where I will see no RP at all and REQ store unavailability as soon as I start. And when you say hard reset, what exactly do you mean?
Could be a variety of connection issues or server issues that cause that to happen. For a hard reset, hold the power button in for 30 seconds, unplug the power brick for a minute then switch everything back on again
