I had the same problem (in addition to the network error reappearing, which means I can’t play online AGAIN). I had to restart this mission, this seemed to solve the issue,
It’s a shame no one from the studio replied but latest patch fixed this issue;

I also have the problem since the update - this is on an X-Box One.
I downloaded the update/patch a couple of days ago - and now every time I try to play (in campaign mode - not tried any other modes) it just freezes and then crashes the whole system - which means that it’s completely unplayable.
It seems to load the menus etc all normally, and goes all the way through press to continue to get into the gameplay itself, and then it either black-screens and crashes, or on one occasion, showed the very first image on screen, and then crashed.
Is anyone else having the same issue since the update?
I’m not having this problem anymore, I’ve tested on both Windows 10 and Xbox One. Sorry I can’t help anymore. Hope someone from the studio comes on to support you soon.
