Game Crash after loading Campaign - Windows 10

Since the last update I have been unable to load any campaign mission.

Issue;

  • Launch Game
  • Click Campaign
  • Click on a mission or load a game
  • Loading screen appears with mission briefing
  • Continue button appears
  • Click continue
  • Game goes to black screen until crashing close with no error message

PC Specs;
Windows 10 Enterprise v1607
Intel Xeon CPU E5-1650 v4 3.60GHz
64gb Ram
64 bit OS, x64-based processor
DirectX 12
Nvida 378.66 GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

Note that I have been able to play Skirmishes just not the campaign, which I have been excited to continue.

Please assist.

I had the same problem (in addition to the network error reappearing, which means I can’t play online AGAIN). I had to restart this mission, this seemed to solve the issue,

I tried that but didn’t work either.

It’s a shame no one from the studio replied but latest patch fixed this issue;

I have this problem too
Update:
As of today I’m having no more problems. I installed the new wondows aniv update which fixed this.

Hi,
I also have the problem since the update - this is on an X-Box One.
I downloaded the update/patch a couple of days ago - and now every time I try to play (in campaign mode - not tried any other modes) it just freezes and then crashes the whole system - which means that it’s completely unplayable.
It seems to load the menus etc all normally, and goes all the way through press to continue to get into the gameplay itself, and then it either black-screens and crashes, or on one occasion, showed the very first image on screen, and then crashed.
Is anyone else having the same issue since the update?

HI all,

I’m not having this problem anymore, I’ve tested on both Windows 10 and Xbox One. Sorry I can’t help anymore. Hope someone from the studio comes on to support you soon.
