Game breaking forge glitch

I was forging as i have been for the last couple of days so I have got the controls nailed down, my Blue and Red axis circles (the red ring) (the blue ring), the blue ring is set in its correct position yet the red is slightly set sideways, so on every object when i rotate it turns it the wrong orientation as the red axis in bugged I have reset the game, the xbox and its still stuck in this glitch config, excuse me its pretty hard to explain

Video - its on my news feed no idea how to link an uploaded video

You can always create an XboxDVR account which grant you access to all your screenshot and video on your Xbox directly on one website :slight_smile:have a look then link your videos yeeaaahhh !!!

Will do but I’m currently working might have to uninstal halo and re install

there is more problems that can be attributed to the xbox itself more then halo… I’ve had my game crash on a number of different games where the loading can not be completed and just restart the game. xbox needs to address this problem asap

Duude I am just now today running into this problem! I’ve been forging a map the last few days and this morning went to work on it and nothing rotates correctly. Everythings off by +/- 3%. So annoying and I can’t finish my map now. Sucks that it exists but I’m glad I’m not the only one having it happen. Needs to be fixed… I suspect it has something to do with it thinking certain objects are a child to a parent object (like in a group), where the parent is at an odd angle therefore throwing the rotation of all objects off.

Also worth noting, I went to change the skybox on Glacier to nighttime, it took foooorever and ended up deleting every object. Only happened once but still, good thing it didn’t auto save before I left.

Press up on the D-pad while rotating.

Its not related to the object vs world axis. Its messed up either way

Then is it attached to the camera?

It is. It appears to actually be stuck on camera. D-pad up is not changing the setting, whether for rotate or for moving. Strange. Thanks for pinpointing the problem, but it is definitely glitched out today

edit** nvermind on moving. Forgot that was magnets lol. But I’m not sure how to un attach the camera so it rotates to the world? I’ve never had this problem, have been forging since release.

Jump into the tool settings on Forge. Hit X and change the rotation from camera to object.

Thank you so much. You just saved me a headache lol. Do you know if there is a shortcut to change that setting? Because I’ve never changed it in that menu and today it was switched. Really odd.

I haven’t found a shortcut myself. I don’t think there is one haha

If you hold both triggers and press up on the D pad while an object is selected it will swap between Camera, World, and Object
