Game always crash when trying to start Halo 3.

Hi everybody!

I’m having a problem with Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

Every time I try to start Halo 3 or anything else Halo 3 related (like forge or Halo 3 Multiplayer maps)
the game crashes and throws me out to the Xbox One Dashboard…
I’ve tried to redownload the game three times with no result, I’ve tried to hard reboot the Xbox One several
times as well with disconnecting all the cables and wait 30 seconds with no result either, what more can I do?
Please help me out! Would love to play some Halo 3 and playing some of my favorite multiplayer maps ever!

Hi!
You can as temporary solution change the region on the xbox to USA. This will solve the issues with Halo 3. But concider this teporary and beware that changing region can be against the policy. But I haven’t had any problem. I guess Microsoft understand the problem with MCC and why people change region even more now to be able to play Halo 3.

Yes, as I understand it. Many in Sweden has this problem with Halo 3, including me. But not everybody. But I haven’t asked those people if they already have their xbox set to USA or UK. It may be so. In that case it would work from the beginning. I hope the workaround will work for you. Maybe 343i will fix this issue in the next update. All we can do is to wish so.
