I usually get my games early from GAME.com, 1 sometimes 2 days early, If i play Halo 4 , 1 or 2 days early will i get banned on xbox live? thanks guys

Used to be more than fact that you would, but now… never. A mate of mine still hasn’t got his AC3 he preordered a while back, Play.com is probably the better bet in getting games early now.
if you are in the UK. I recommend ShopTo.net. they might not get the best of the pre-order bonuses but every game I have pre-ordered from them I have had one or two days early. And in one case 4 days.
As long as it’s a legitimate copy you’ll be fine, I recall a certain UK retailer selling Halo 3 about ten days early, I also know a person who bought a copy and played it early and he’s still around,
Legit copy fine, dodgy copy, probably banned.

When I got Reach from them I got a email saying it had been dispatched and then expected it to arrive the next day (had a number of other games sent before release) and it arrived on the day, but had a “Do not deliver till 25/09/10” (or whenever reach came out) sticker on it.
Shopto is your best bet for getting it early.

Id say amazon or GameStop actually and GameStop UK depends where you are

As long as you don’t play the Matchmaking before release; then you’ll be fine. 
If you have proof of purchase, like a receipt or confirmation e-mail, it is the fault of the retailer. Play away.

I have talked to two microsoft people, one said its fine, another says its best to wait for release date, so imo just play lol.

I talked to one and he just said he couldn’t guarantee I wouldn’t get banned. And I messaged David Ellis on neogaf and he said his personal advice was to not go online until launch but that it was not an official statement. I think they just would prefer nobody to play until the 6th but can’t do much about it anymore. Legit copies are being played now, not burnt discs from some pirate jerks.
