Galileo Mission Bug SparOps

For those who haven’t experienced it yet, on mission 2 of episode 3 Galileo, you may or may not run into this bug.
The bodies of the covenent forces attacking the base after about the third drop will not appear, their weapons show up but you wont see the Covies.

Their still out there though and you can still complete the mission, just look for the weapons that seem to be sliding and bouncing around on the floor or the ground, and then either spray the air above it with an AR or fire a fuel rod at the weapon itself. Watch your radar also and you’ll get an idea of where they are. There’s no need to drop out of the mission.

Hit this a couple of times. Actually found it hilarious and didn’t impact the mission too much.

Yeah this has happened to me a few times when playing in matchmaking. It doesn’t seem to do it (at least I don’t think I’ve had it happen yet) when playing solo or in a private party, but when searching for players in matchmaking it tends to happen.

Strange. I just throw grenades in the general area of the guns and usually they get killed.

There is a video around demonstrating that the covenant are actually still there, but tiny. Shown by the elites shields still appearing.
I’ve been trying to get this to happen with me, but unfortunately I can’t get it to occur. I’m actually quite disappointed in that, as I think its awesome. Would be even better if it was a skull effect for campaign (and eventually Sp-OPs if an update allows skulls).

LOL, well I just thought I would mention it because in a random party with 3 kids they freaked out at the “invisible” covenant that were killing them when they spawned in and one of them bailed on the mission before I explained to the other two what to do.

Had it happen to me once, such a funny bug.

For those who are interested, when a Phantom or Drop Pod spawns, it is extremely tiny, then as it gets closer to you, increases in size, all enemies aboard the Phantoms & Drop pods also shrink, meaning once they get closer, increase in size.

I assume that for what ever reason, they don’t increase in size like they should, resulting in the issue happening.

So basically they arent invisible covies, they just pocket protector sized covies. I beat that really messes with the mind of an elite when he’s shorter than the grunts from the previous wave.

If they were invisible, then they finally nailed their Camo technology!
