How’s it going friends? My name is Fringy, and I make videos and write stuff. What a compelling introduction.
I recently published episode one of Galactic Gunners, my very first original series. The pilot episode can be viewed here:
It's a comedy/drama machinima series created using Halo 2: Anniversary. It stars two mismatched space mercenaries sent on a mission by a PMC organisation known as FALCON, which leads the pair to dramatic discoveries and forces them to build their relationship in spite of their conflicting personalities in order to succeed. It's vulgar, crass and hopefully funny. I'm desensitized to my own writing at this stage and I can't gauge very well if the writing is funny, but my subscribers think it's funny and engaging, so maybe you guys will too.I figured I’d post a link to the pilot episode here so it could get some traction and I could get feedback from other machinima writers/directors, as well as the community at large. This will be a seven episode season, with episodes hopefully releasing about 2-3 weeks apart. If you think the show starts off very slow, don’t worry. Things pick up quite quickly in episode two, which is already close to completion. The scripts are completed and production is already underway, though I’m still open to revising scripts if need be.
Production can be difficult, as this is a one man show, character acting included, but I do prefer doing those things by myself as it provides me greater control over production, and lag is not an issue with split screen. However, I am open to recruiting people to provide voices for the minor characters as well as potentially major characters if I do decide to produce a second season, as well as collaborating with people in more involved ways for future projects, including Galactic Gunners.
Thanks for taking the time to look at my show and hopefully you’ll enjoy it as well as give me some feedback. More episodes are soon to follow.
