FYI You can drive with the flag in Halo CE

Just a heads up for those playing Halo CE in the Custom Game Browser that are playing CTF or Assault.

I know this was removed for the sake of balance in subsequent games, but it still feels so restrictive to not be able to drive and hold a flag when you’re playing as a supersoldier.

Nah, I love CE’s CTF mechanics; it what makes it unique.

I was never aware of that being a thing. Huh, interesting.

It’s almost as common to find people not knowing this as I come across people not knowing you can’t Plasma Pistol stun vehicles in CE and H2.

But I’ll give them credit for trying!

Supprized more people don’t know about this but hey it’s MCC CE so people will bring things from other Halos like not leading shots or thinkin gthat the plasma pistol emps to CE.

On all my Halo 2A and Reach Custom Maps I made damn sure you could carry the flag in "ANY VEHICLE!" …Example Hogs, Banshees, Hornets, Ghots, Falcons, Tanks, and Mongoose’s can carry the flag in these vehicles. It’s a real bummer that you can’t carry the flag in Halo CE and Halo 3 IMHO.

You can set it so that you can drive with the flag in custom game settings in reach, not sure about 3 tho

Halo 2 classic you can set it so you can drive with the flag too.
