FXAA in Halo 4 too low?

Well I’ve noticed, particularly in the multiplayer footage, LOTS of jaggies. I’m just curious, is the footage we’ve seen so far resemble the amount of FXAA we will see in the final build? Jaggies give the game a huge unpolished look, something Halo is DEFFINETLY not known for.

The only game on consoles that has it noticeably bad is Battlefield 3. Hopefully Halo 4 doesn’t continue that trend.

Halo isn’t known for jaggies? You should probably go and take a good hard look at Halo 3. The FXAA used in Halo 4 is as good as any FXAA I’ve seen. In fact, the only place I’ve seen lots of artifacts is Haven due to the design choices made with the map. However, anywhere else I haven’t really seen problems.

The bad thing is BF3 is easily one of the best looking console games out there.

Wait till next gen, guys.

In all honestly, I’d be willing to sacrifice some detail to get rid of most of those jaggies. There worse than a swarm of Promethean Knights slowing eating you in your sleep.
