Dear 343 Industries,
I thought I would send you this list of suggestions that I thought might make Halo 5 an even better game. Now if any of this has already been announced for future updates then I was unaware of it and I apologize. I know that you are very busy, I believe with at least four known projects. Those being Halo 5 Guardians, MCC, Halo 6, and Halo Wars 2. Not including whatever work you may be doing on Halo Online. So if you could spare just a few minutes of your time to hear me out it would greatly be appreciated. Now Halo 5 wasn’t my favorite Halo but I understand some things have to change in order to prevent it from becoming stale like other video game franchises. Just don’t remove what makes Halo…Well…Halo. So here are my thoughts.

A more organized customization menu would be helpful. I don’t know about you but if you go to Halo Reach and then back to Halo 5 you realize how disorganized it is. Instead of listing the helmets in the order you unlocked them why don’t you make it so the that all the different variations of each helmet are in the same category. I can’t tell you how many times I wanted to compare Variant A to Variant B and had to flip through 50-100 helmets and forget what one looked like trying to find the other one

While on the subject of customization I would like to mention that it would be awesome to see us able to make the Spartans our own with more options. Bringing back the wrist parts, utility items, kneepads and having different shoulder pieces made each and every Spartan unique not including cool the armor effects. I used to spend hours customizing my Spartan and mixing different pieces for fun and it gave me more of an incentive to play because I wanted to collect it all to compare the different pieces together. This is also in MCC which would be nice to see upgraded as well.

Forge mode could use one thing in my opinion. The ability to create and play custom games on the warzone maps would not only be amazing but open up a whole new world of possibilities. Maybe even with the AI in it…Just an idea although I know that would take a lot of work.

Adding some more playlists would make many people happy. Playlists such as Snipers, Extraction, Headhunter, Race and several other fan favorites and leaving them in permanently would be a very good idea. That plus adding in some classic Halo modes for the old school players like me would be nice as well. These modes would disable Spartan charge, ground pound, sprint, and maybe even aim down sights or something. This would appease some of the older players in my opinion.

Classic Firefight would be an awesome addition as well. I know many people would love to either do 1-4 or 1-8 player classic firefight. Adding in the voices of your favorite characters would be epic as well and bring back some nostalgia that players want. Oh and P.S. Please add ODST firefight back in the MCC. It would be awesome to see that come back and maybe even play as SGT. Johnson again.

New and Old Requisitions such as…Falcons, Hornets, Choppers, Prowlers, Specters, Revenants, Halo CE warthog, Transport Hogs, Sticky Bomb Detonators, Grenade Launchers, Plasma Launchers, Spikers, Plasma Repeaters, Focus Rifles or Sentinel Beams, Maulers, MA5B (AKA Halo CE Assault Rifle) and if that wasn’t enough new armors as well. Such as the Hayabusa, Raider, Rogue, Operator, Military Police, EOD and the Pilot helmet to name a few. We all know the pilot helmet with the skull inside was cool. This isn’t even including so many more items that you could add in from Halo Wars 1 and 2 but we don’t have all day.

Last but not least If you weren’t planning on allowing us to play as Elites then I have an awesome idea. You could make a Spartan Ops-ish side story following the Arbiters forces and allow us to play as Elites that we can customize and add even more lore into the Arbiters stories of clearing out the remaining Covenant and maybe even Brutes. As a final last comment adding in Skirmishers, Buggers, Brutes, Tank turret destruction, a handful of the fan favorite armor abilities like jetpack, hologram, evade to name a few, and a fixed MCC wouldn’t be a complaint either. Also I’m sure having split screen for Halo 5 would also be an epic addition.
