We know that the FF update wasn’t the last update, this has been stated by i343. Or atleast I think so.
Here’s a personal thing I’d like to see in terms of Content update for Warzone FF, or Warzone for that matter if you will.
Come Halo Wars 2, and we’ll find a new faction that’s more fleshed out than previous ones, like the Heretics.
Atriox would make an excellent Firefight boss.
Melee who can pull enemies towards him for instance.
Wraiths and Banshees have new looks, ghosts too if I recall.
Choppers could be reintroduced.
We also have the Bristleback and Locust, the latter which a lot of players have wanted for some time.
There are of course things on the UNSC side as well.
The updated Cyclops, I want it.
Jackrabbit, whatever function that would serve when there’s mongoose and gungoose
The release of Halo Wars 2 would be an excellent opportunity to implement a fair amount of related assets into Warzone in order to cross over boundaries between the games.
Fight Atriox in Halo Wars 2, and then jump into Halo 5 to get close and personal with him, not to mention somewhat market the other game.
I’d love to see a bunch of cool new stuff like that, but let’s be real here, 343 isn’t competent enough to do all that. They can’t even add playable elites or soldiers, they remix maps, and tend to do a shoddy job at a fair amount of things. I’d really like to use that new cyclops suit though, putting the smackdown on kids is always fun.
I doubt we will get any real new vehicle, maybe some new colored vehicles if anything, but your expectation of future updates is way too high. Like they’re actually creating a whole new brute character model just as a warzone boss…

That makes me wonder.
I wish we had the Heretics return.
Make them like the Swords of Sanghelios/Banished, have their own customised vehicles like the banshee from Halo 2.

I’m not expecting anything, I’m expressing a wish and how it may be of use for them outside of just being an update, the marketing part.
They have more than half a year to do Brutes, while everything in there would be having high expectaions. Atriox and base brutes would still be doable within that time frame along with recolored base covenant vehicles.
Cyclops could be usable in Arena as well, just like the Wasp.
