So, a thought occurred, whether or not you agree with the gameplay direction or visual fidelity of Halo Infinite, how do you all feel about the future of the franchise? I don’t believe it’s at all debated that 343’s entries into the series have struggled to retain players over longer periods of time unlike the previous era of Halo games, well, Halo Infinite is coming and promises to be a 10 year games as a service type model where they just continually update the same package, so, my question is, does anyone have faith that things are going to be different this time around? Will 343 be able to keep players long enough to support evolving the game meaningfully to justify not making new game releases?
I feel perfectly fine with 343 at the helm. I enjoyed Halo 4 a lot and though I personally thought Halo 5 was meh I am still excited for infinite and believe it’ll be just fine.
