So Halo 5 is out in the wild, and this has definitely been an interesting year for fans of the Halo universe, especially with the addition of Canon Fodder and the novels we got this year, with one more on the way. So I’d like to ask, what novels, or any other media, would you like to see in the future?
Personally, I’d like to see one final novel on Jul M’dama, to give one final resolution to his character while also exploring the events after Jul arrived on Sangheilios, going over his war with the Arbiter, the UNSC, potential conflicts with the Servants of Abiding Truth (they have his son), how he gained control over the Prometheans/meeting the Didact and gaining his favour in the first place and how he lost control of them. I’d also like to see the aftermath for Jul’s Covenant faction and the other Covenant factions post Halo 5 to be explored in this novel especially with the reclaimation of Sangheilios by the Arbiter and the arrival of the Guardians and the Created.
With the discussion shift onto the Created, it’ll be nice to also look into the initial effects of the arrival of the Guardians on the Galaxy as a whole, to see how the UNSC, SOS and even ONI and the NCA react towards the Created.
Hmm… Now that I think about it, the Covenant were right with the banning of (most) A.Is. Haha. /joke.

I’ve thought that too. The whole halo universe is in a giant stasis, it all became Cortana except from Infinity, Blue Team, Osiris, Halsey, SOS, Arbiter. And probably some ONI space facilities, the Point of No Return and some ships who were not in one of the solar systems were the guardians were sent (because in slipspace, deep space, etc). That doesn’t leave much space to narration…

I really hope we get some idea as to what’s going on after October 28th. Three years is too much time to wait!
I’d like to see a novel continuing the story of the Xellans and Zo Resken from Halo: Broken Circle. It was a fantastic story and I cannot wait to see what they do with it. I would also like to know what the San Shy’uum have been up to since the end of Halo 3.
