Would it be a good idea in future halos to make the br a single shot weapon while scoped in, but keep its three round burst while hip firing? This would make a lot of people (who believe the dmr is OP) happy while still giving people who enjoy the dmr a single shot weapon (even if it would be a little less powerful).
I think the d-pa should be used more, to alternate the weapon from one shot, to multiple shot, however, multiple shots should have more recoil and less accuracy to compensate for its increased rate of fire.

Using the D-Pad can be horrendous at times. Because the Xbox D-Pad is so poor, sometimes you will want to use equipment, but you’ll change firing-modes…

We already have this, it’s called the Light Rifle. Almost noone ever uses it.
