Here is an idea. A forge map, with three different environments, one snow, one desert, and the other grass, all inside three arena type areas, maybe a circle for one, a box for another, and and an octagon. All flat or semi-flat surfaces. We could place rock/stones, trees/bushes, etc etc, along with the normal forge objects. Call this map Bio-Dome.
So basically The Eden Project as a map? Awesome! I was there just the other week and was thinking with some variations, it would make an awesome map! (if you don’t know what the eden project is, google it)!
I agree, especially in the sense that being able to place more environmental features on a map (trees and rocks, I guess you could even have hills!) would serve as a great improvement to the forge system.
I would like a reappearance of a ‘forge world’ type map, but to have the majority of items (and therefore tools) exclusive to a single map again would suck, no matter how large it is.
Fortunately, everything I’ve seen from 343i so far has filled me with a lot of confidence in Halo 4.

I posted something like this earlier but it was called Flatgrounds.
> The Cartographer Map Pack
> Magma - Forge map set on an active volcano with snow and ice surrounding it. (Forerunner and Covenant objects.)
>
> Beachfront - Forge map set near the coast of New Mombasa. (Human objects and area to remake Zanzibar.)
>
> Dunes - Forge Map set in a desert with an oasis. (Sandbox type objects and an area to remake Sandtrap and Sandbox)
>
> Tropical - Set on a tropical island with a beautiful sunset in the background. (Forerunner Objects)
>
> Flatgrounds - Set on a completely flat square shaped terrain piece with different biomes on each corner (All objects and tons of terrain objects to pretty much make your own terrain.)
Not a bad idea. But at first, I thought you were going to suggest an underwater map set within a dome. Now THAT would have been cool. I’ve always wanted something like that ever since I played the level Regret.
I really just want a large box map to forge in like the on from forge world so I can remake my map from Halo 3. the box (grifball court) on erosion seems much smaller and shorter.
I want something that can go up like five or six levels.
