Hello,
I was listening to the Audio book Silent Storm and was taken back to all of the Nostalgia of when I first jumped into a halo game at the age of 7 on my grandmother’s gaming PC. It was a trial of the Silent Cartographer mission in Halo Combat evolved. it lead to me switching from Playstation to Xbox as soon as I saved enough money. As an OG Halo fan I myself have been rather let down by the recent additions to the Halo Franchise Simply because it seems certain aspect are being left behind or changed based on the younger player base for the sake of “Fairness” and “Social Norms” of competitors. However, I still return everytime and play through the story Arc because it has been a wild ride and I intend to finish the fight. Spartans never give up and they never die.
This is what brought me to what I think to be an amazing breakthrough. As we have seen through the story over the years, new spartan programs have come to be since the creation of the Spartan ll’s. And each spartan is given a designation number that is unique to them. we have seen Characters such as ODST Buck and ONI’s John Locke become the new age of Spartans. Spartan 117’s Journey can only go on so much longer before he will be meeting his heroic and appropriate “retirement” as the center of the Halo Verse. My concept is that every player is given a unique spartan designation number of a new spartan program classified top secret Ultra. As it is not hard to believe that someone would attempt to replicate Dr Halsey’s spartan program Orion 2. If the community had the opportunity to create their own spartan in a variation of armor they choose and that can be upgraded through the years and new installations of games it would breathe a new life into the Universe and inspire all Halo fans to dive in once again to the once unopposed gameplay we fell in love with. and in the event a players spartan must be determined “Missing in Action” they can be issued a new identification number and begin a new journey as they travel the stars and fight the battles that Humanity faces. This is a suggestion that I hope reaches the proper eyes and may one day be implemented. It is every Halo fans dream to be immersed in the universe we love. And to become a spartan of our own to explore the trials and pitfalls of humanities effort in survival from annihilation. Thank you for your time and hopefully your consideration.
