We know there will be DLC for the campaign, I’m sure I’ve read somewhere the first DLC will be about the Endless. But what I would like to see is an ODST story set just after the infinity is lost and the crew make it to the surface of the ring.
Imagine a story of your ODST on the islands being hunted by the banished, outnumbered and outgunned. Trying to regroup with their squad and organise some sort of resistance, it could even have 4 player co-op (if they can get it too work).
Also as we move forward with Infinite campaign I’m hoping it’s not going to be small DLC drops with each season, I think two DLC drops a year (six months apart) which offer around 6-8 hours of playtime and maybe a larger campaign add-on every two years would be nice. But there needs to be more substance to what can be done in the end game other than walking around looking for collectables, how about a one man firefight mode at a FOB (unless they get co-op working) or add some side missions or even new weekly HVT’s that you have to track down and eliminate.
One last thing, when the game is complete and I have the open world to explore they should remove the area barriers to the last two islands so I can just fly over to them and explore.
343i have given themselves a strong foundation to build upon and hopefully they’ll expand the experience and give us something truly amazing.
