I was wondering if 343i will release a Armor DLC package in the near future. If so, I would really appreciate it because when I pre-ordered my H4:LE I never recieved my redemption codes for the forest skin, hazop armor and BR skin. I went back to them same day to request for my codes and they said they could’t do anything for me. I couldn’t believe it. I was so upset. I just want what I was promised. I really hope 343i releases a Armor DLC pack because I would certainly pay the cost to get my favorite armor and also the other armor’s that were pre-order bonuses too. Such as the Locus armor which I would love to see in a DLC pack if 343i decided to release one.
343i said that it’s a definite possibility of them doing just that in the future. It wouldn’t be for maybe a year, but they’ve stated they’re looking into it.
They said they couldn’t do anything? Why? Did you have the receipt? If you did, then they HAVE to give you the code.
I have 3 receipts. the original one for putting 25$ down to pre-order, the second to pay it off and the third one I got at the mid-night release.
I hope they release all the armor as DLC as well.
Two reasons:
first-I was unable to pre-order
second-It’s not possible to have gotten all the armor without buying from multiple places which would be a waste of money.
I would hope they release new helmets because most of them are fugly. I am sad for your loss OP. Sucks. Just like this map pack fiasco.
I’m hoping that they add more than just the preorder stuff, there are already people who reached lv.130 so no more armor right? And I feel like the halo reach armor was a lot better and it feels like there was more…
I also hope they raise the level cap with more specializations in the future.
I know in halo reach it wasnt really possible to add “new” armor to the game through DLC but I’m not sure on Halo 4 coding.
Probably new armor would come out if they made more Specializations

Did you go through gamestop? that’s where i pre-ordered and apparently their corperate servers, gs’s not 343i’s or ms’s, stopped working, i heard the guys behind counter saying that this was the worst botch by gs in so long for such a big game, and that someone down in corprate would be in very big trouble.

you should fight them about that. i never received my hmv preorder until 2 weeks after i collected my game, as i went into the shop to find out wtf was happening constantly for the 2 weeks and then when they finally gave me the email address to complain to, 15 mins after getting an autoreply saying they will look into my complaint i received the codes. and yes you are within your right to complain as you preordered the game from them to get those specific preorders, point that out to them that you’ll spread social media that enter place of preorder here does not follow up with their preorder codes and to beware at all costs, they will and can get the codes for you if they dont want a scandal, no matter what they say about not being able to get them any more.
i think extra armor pieces would be good but they should earned like the current pieces are as well.

i pre ordered from gamestop too and never received the skin i was supposed to get. then discovered i didn’t like it anyway.
I hope they do. I’d love to see a “Nostalgia Armor Pack” containing some old favorites, like Mark V, CQB, etc. Charge a couple dollars for it and have a manual title update containing the files. I’m sure a couple armor sets won’t be anything over 50MB.
