I haven’t been on the Forums in a long time, so forgive me if this doesn’t deserve a new topic, but I rediscovered an old topic before Halo 4 came out, and I forgot how funny it was. It was called “What do you like so far” and it was about opinions of Halo 4 based on beta-testing or something. Just scroll down until you see my first post, and then just keep reading the responses.
Yeah, that was a really funny experience. I loved how everyone just went with it. I was playing Halo Reach the other day with my friend, and I told him to look it up, and he fell out of his chair laughing.
I actually feel really bad for Halo 4’s current situation.
I feel like 343i worked really hard to put their sweat and blood into bring Halo back for us, everyone was saying that this was going to be the big comeback, and that Halo was coming back; that 343i was going to bring us 3 more games that would make Halo big again - the game that all the 12 year old kiids would get on to play around with their frineds in Forge, and post all their little vidoes on Youtube like thier fun in Custom Games, and all their clan videos, all their montages and crazy shenanigans, or boost in FFA , only to be eliminatinated by the precison of the likes of which has never been seen by that guy who’s been playing since Halo CE.
Instead, the game fell flat on it’s face.
Can’t even get more than 50 K players on a Tuesday evening.

^^ Well that was happy. I really like the direction in which 343 has taken Halo and that makes it (almost) impossible to compare it to Bungie’s Halo. Once I just accepted the fact that Halo 4 is 343’s Halo, not Bungie’s, that made it a whole lot easier to appreciate. Bear in mind that a vast amount of ex-Bungie staff now work at 343, and that 343 is working constantly to make Halo 4 better, as well as receiving feedback on how to make Halo 5 great.
