It doesn’t matter which Halo or when. I’m just curious what hilarious events happened to you in matchmaking.
One that always sticks out for me is in Halo 3. Dual Slayers. Aka only dual wielding weapons. On the stage Snowbound I think. Anyways, back then if you killed an enemy player you could hear their mic for the few seconds they died right before they respawn. So during this match everyone picked the same obvious weapons. Plasma rifles, SMGs, Spikers. I got creative. I grabbed two Maulers. For those unaware, firing two at the same time at close range is the equivalent of a shotgun. Aka instant kill. So I just kept creeping around, popping around corners and killing enemy combatants unsuspecting me. Finally after about 12 or 13 kills I hear someone yell “I F***ING HATE THAT GUY!!!” And I laughed so hard, knowing that I was truly doing my job.
Two more instances were in Halo: Reach. One was me and another player were shooting at each other on some map in Forge World, can’t remember which. They then threw a frag grenade at me. It bounced off my chest and flew back at him, exploding on him and killing him. It was then I realized that I have abs of steel! Another instance was in Battle Canyon inside a base. I knew I was gonna die so I threw a plasma grenade at my enemy and stuck them. As I died, I watched at they initiated Armour Lock. But since their character didn’t land their fist on the ground before the grenade exploded, it killed them. Soooooo…Armour Lock was definitely not going to save them then!!!
Anyways, I’m just curious about your laughable moments. We could all use some laughs right about now anyways.
