A bit frustrating that a lot of stuff has been announced like this, but after seeing the shock nade from the campaign demo I’m not as surprised by a shock rifle.
There is the possibility that it might not get featured in game, but judging by the other figures in the line I think it’s a safe bet it will be in game.
I’m more curious to how it would function in a game. Is it like a sentinel beam, where you shoot electricity out of it at a continuous rate? Or like a shotgun that pumps out bursts that disable vehicles or lowers shields? Could be a fun weapon either way, but I know nothing about it to determine if it’s a good addition or not.
Though OP, I wouldn’t jump to saying that it’s a confirmed entity within Halo until that is explicitly stated. By that logic, the Megaconstrux set that has a boat build would confirm the inclusion of a boat in Infinite’s vehicle sandbox.
Seeing as the other figures have the relevant names (MA40 for the AR, and so on) it’s pretty clear the Shock Rifle is in the game, yeah. Kind of sad how oittle we know about this game (and even what we do know being super ambiguous)
Always happy to see more UNSC weapons introduced. Part of me thinks it might be kind of a human compliment to the plasma pistol. Highly effective against shields but not so much against armor. Could stall vehicles like the plasma pistol too. Honestly I’m just surprised more stuff hasn’t been leaked like this yet, but time will tell.
