Fun with betrayals.

Browsing the forums I noticed a lot of threads about getting rid of friendly fire and betrayals. I understand why people would want to get rid of it but, I have to say some of my most memorable games where we would just start betraying each other. I remember this one game where my whole team turned on each other and we still dominated the enemy team and won, it was a very fun game. For me Halo would be a lot less fun without friendly fire, how about you? I can’t be the only one who enjoys doing this from time to time.

Please excuse my English, it’s not my first language.

Betraying on purpose is stupid friendly fire being on is okay.

The solution to Betrayals isn’t taking friendly fire out, but making a working betrayal-system.

That would work to.

It isn’t a tought thing to do.

Not letting your teammate pick up the weapons that you dropped after he betrayed you would be a start.
Adding stats which show others how much you betrayed is another good thing.
And we have Betrayal-Cams now, which also help a lot.
I just hope the booting system isn’t random like in Reach.

I really don’t get what’s funny about betraying your teams to be honest. I hope the boot system does it’s job.

Wow. People who betray for the sake of it are what ruin online gaming.

lol when me and my friends would play together in living dead we would always end up betraying eachother nonstop, it was hilarious. i wouldn’t do it to other players though, kind of a -Yoink- move. but my friends never cared, they betrayed all the time. they’re partly the reason it was taken out of living dead.
