Fun things in Halo 4

As I have looked at these forums since the first Halo 4 trailer, I have been disappointed. Day by day, week by week, the same topics pop up. If you don’t know what I’m talking about do the Armor Abilities or bloom topics come to mind?

Sure, these things are important, but in the end we will adapt to whatever 343i gives us to work with. What about new playlists for competitive or social people? New vehicle we might use from the possible Forerunners/Precursors.

I’ll start you out. One of the greatest things created from Halo is machinima. And no, I’m not talking about the Youtube Channel, obvious I know but people get confused. Rooster Teeth started Halo Machinima and it has exploded ever since. So, for those video makers out there, what would they want for some new features? I would like to be able to rewind in Theater Mode, instead of it skipping back a scene.

Adding onto this, lowering our weapons has seem to always been a chore for machinimas. I’m not asking for it to be involved online, for we know why it cannot be. I am simply asking, since it’s not available online, why the crazy button combinations? Why not set it as an unused button on the D-pad?

Civillian Vehicles would also be an essential. We have to come up with excuses for the massive chain gun on the Warthog. The civi vehicles would be available in forge only. I know we can currently remove the turret through a glitch on some vehicles, but it just doesn’t look right. Plus with the civi vehicles we could actually ride in the back of the Warthog, kind of similar to how Gorge rides in the back of the jeep in Winter Contingency.

I’m also going to throw some forge ideas with this. Ok hear me out. We would get new sets of items of course but I would like blank canvasses of maps for different climates. These maps would be a free map pack. They would be completely blank and would basically and sand box clone only lets say if you want it grassy, you pick the grassy version. The items would be similar to this. When we go to the items settings there will be a option called climate, this can change your item to the climate you want. When you select the map the item will be defaulted to that maps climate, but you can change it if you want. This allows for more creativity, fun, and better sets for machinimas. For example I am in a desert setting, I build a base and mess with the settings, I now have a snow base in my desert :3.

Bots in custom games.

Some people don’t have access to the internet all the time, and some people don’t have the money for xbox live.

Although you can play firefight and campaign, you won’t be getting the same experience as you would with multiplayer. Most of this has to do with the maps, gametypes, playlists and the “Team” concept.

And I get tired of 1v1 customs.

You should also get to change A.I difficult depending on your own skill level. I don’t see why 343i can’t do this, =|.

So would the bots act similar to, pardon my language, Call of Duty: Black ops bots in training mode? Only it’s for multiplayer and you are fighting spartans?

I guess, but the A.I should be much more intelligent than it is in Black Ops. And I would want an option where you could make your opposing A.I’s elites or spartans.

But if your asking the A.I would be spartans (or elites) rather than covenant, precursors, forerunners(or whatever we fight in Halo 4), your answer (as pretty much already stated) is yes.

I know this probably won’t happen but it would be cool if we could have bots to make machinimas and we could make it so we could CONTROL what they would do so we could set it up so only certain people die. Unlikely it would happen but I just wanted to say it.
