Hello. I’m here to report a bug that I’ve discovered while playing on my dual monitor setup. When I have on my main screen, Halo Reach, and wish to use my secondary monitor, i have to alt-tab in order to have my mouse gain access to my other screen. The problem I’ve had is twice yesterday, there were times that doing this caused the game itself to freeze. I couldn’t do anything on that screen at that point. Alt-F4ing wouldn’t work, bringing up the task manager “would” bring it up, but behind the black screen. Both times I had to manually restart my computer on my second monitor.
Normally, this wouldn’t annoy me enough to make an official bug report. The main reason I’m even bothering is because BOTH times I did this, a pop-up would appear just before the “restarting” screen would appear to tell me what apps were closing before the system would shut down. This popup was for an easycheat violation. So far, I’ve seen this popup twice. I’m told easycheat is known to issue false bans, and in addition to this bug report, I am eager to get info on how exactly this easycheat works for violations. Is it a 3 strikes you’re out system? If my game crashes a third time (I’ve since set my game to borderless at all times now) will I be permenantly banned because the system thinks that me restarting my PC while the game is “running” is cheating? My system specs are: Windows 10 pro, Intel i7 7700k, 16 gigs Corsair ram, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080.
