Xbox has revealed more information about Warzone Firefight, including the release date and full REQ sheet reveal!

Some small tid bits of information:
- Molten is the new arena map and will be the Rig’s remix - Attack on Sanctum is the full name for the new Warzone map - Classic beam rifle confirmed, called Halo 2 beam Rifle. - New stance featuring Halo 2 Beam Rifle. - Wasp will be a rare REQ which means it can be unlocked in silver packs - The update will release on Wednesday, June 29! - The livestream will be on June 28 starting at 2p.m. PT

What does this mean?
Cool! That’s next week! I’m a little surprised that the Halo 2 beam rifle is being brought back as opposed to other classic weapons, but it’s cool nonetheless. I wonder how it will function differently from the current beam rifle. Also, warzone on Sanghelios? That’s awesome!

It means there’s more to come. We still have Forge Prefabs to look forward to for instance. I was actually talking with Tom French about them last night and he said we can expect more information about them soon.

This update seems to be the worst kept secret ever, or it’s being over leaked in order to try and build hype.
Last free update? Lets hope MS is as good at fact checking as IGN.

What do you mean by that? You do think Polygon, IGN, and Xbox are leaking this stuff? If so, that’s not the case at all. They are being uses to reveal more information about the update. If all of this news came in tomorrow’s Community Update, you’d be stuck reading the damn thing for an hour.

Hopefully there will be a WZA map on Sanghellios after that. If not I call shenanigans.

i mean, it comes out in 6 days, it would have been revealed tomorrow anyway.

Well it should be fun to be able to jump into this that weekend. Should be good traffic too. This is really the only update I’ve been really waiting for.

Game is only 8 months old, usually it takes 2 years for games to get free.
