Full List of MISSING Medals

NOTICE: 343 Industries are aware of the missing medals and are currently working on it as you read this!

> > Will the medals listed here: Missing Medals be added to Waypoint soon?

> We’re working on the medal-related bugs now (as we speak, actually). I don’t know when the fixes will be pushed live, though.

I hope this will help with the upcoming site update to add all these medals, heck I might have even missed some, if you notice some missing and they are not here, reply and I’ll double check it and add it.

As a proud owner of all the legendary medals (except for Killionaire) I demand to know where my medals are. Also, leaving out Killing Spree? Plus other basic medals are missing. This is unacceptable 343, you need to get your Yoink! together by March 31 or you will have a lot of angry people.

Also please add more detailed Halo 3 service records, AT LEAST on the level of the B.net ones. The current one that only shows K/D and playtime is unacceptable to people like me who still play a lot of H3. I realize I come off a bit harsh but you are taking on a big thing with the service records and I want them to be just as detailed as the B.net service records (probably wishful thinking knowing how things get done around here)

> We know the features being discussed in this thread are important to many of you, and making the decisions we did were incredibly difficult.
>
> Adding new features, even ones that seem small, take a significant amount of time and resources. Our main priorities at this time are supporting Reach, building out Halo Waypoint, and making Halo 4.
>
> I know it’s hard to see the positives right now, but because we’re prioritizing those things, you get new Halo: Reach game types and regular playlist updates, you get File Share access on Halo Waypoint this summer, and you get an amazing new game in Holiday 2012.
>
> Again, I don’t expect any of you to be excited about some of the particulars of the transition. Hopefully we can come together, though, and make things a bit easier through some of the ideas listed in this thread (such as community members with capture cards rendering films for their friends). If I can help out with organizing things like that in absolutely any way, please just ask. I’m willing to do whatever I can to assist in making the best of this situation.

Stop whining, they are free features, they don’t need to do this.

I’ll stop “whining” when they actually fix it. As of now the service records are not even close to the level of depth that Bungie’s were. I’m not saying 343 can’t pull it off, I’m saying they need to or a lot of people will be mad.

Who cares if it’s a free feature? Does that mean they should disregard it? Things like Service Records, film rendering, API keys etc are part of what allowed to community to grow and blossom like it has. We already know at least one of those things is gone so I just hope 343 fixes the other 2. Stop blindly worshiping 343 as gods and realize they can and have made mistakes which they can still fix BEFORE the transition on the 31st. It just looks an awful lot like 343 wants to limit Halo’s community until it becomes and unoriginal casual-fest like CoD.

I care that it’s a free feature, I’m annoyed that Nameplates wont be returning but I simply made a post asking, and i got that reply, the service record will be updated in due time, remember when Bungie didn’t have in-depth stats for Halo 2? Me too. 343 are still learning and will continue to do the updates when they are updated, hence the point in this topic.

Don’t get me wrong, I am glad 343 didn’t go the way of CoD Elite and make stuff like service records cost extra, I am glad they are free features. The way you worded it in your other post made it sound like you were saying just because its free we should accept it being below par.

Wow… I didn’t know it was missing that many medals, that will more than likely fixed in time

> remember when Bungie didn’t have in-depth stats for Halo 2? Me too.

How many years ago was that?

> 343 are still learning and will continue to do the updates when they are updated, hence the point in this topic.

343 Industries, a subset of Microsoft, is handling one of the biggest franchises ever and playing in a multimillion dollar industry - they don’t have the luxury to be “still learning”.

Thank you for posting the in depth list… Its ridiculous that they left out all of these.

Bungie was part of Microsoft during Halo 3’s production, they had all the money they could get and there stats were still jumpy and odd to start off with, you are hardly giving 343 a chance, this is the first time they have ever done something like this, its likely a lot of things will change April 1st, for now if you don’t like it, use Bungie.net.

> you are hardly giving 343 a chance, this is the first time they have ever done something like this

Why are you doing this?
They are professionals (hundreds of them) competing against thunderingly massive games and companies. I’m sure it’s not the first time they’ve had to manage a database with some slick front end. If it were I could just get there, slap them in the face and take their job.

Stop defending that which can’t be defended. Sure, they are nice and make cool videos about the Halo Universe, but besides that I haven’t seen anything worthy of even comparing 343i to Bungie.

Sure, I welcome them and am as excited as you are for Halo 4, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves and mindlessly turn into sheep: they need to prove their worth, and in my opinion they’re not doing the best job at it right now.

They were handed a half -Yoink- game called Halo: Reach, they promised updates, which they delivered, they promised a site re-design, which they did.

Bungie was competing against other companies, they didn’t get stats right the first time, nor do many developers, they have yet to publish one game made solely by them, you are basing them right now entirely off the Web Team, not the Game Team.

Things may seem dark now but you are all quick to judge.

> Things may seem dark now but you are all quick to judge.

Sounds like humanity! T___T

But thanks for the list Moa. Hopefully will see this included in the next mega website update.

> They were handed a half -Yoink!- game called Halo: Reach

Halo: Reach is the most technically impressive game the Xbox 360 has ever had, I don’t know what you’re talking about.

> they promised updates, which they delivered

Absolutely true.

> they promised a site re-design, which they did.

Also true, but it has problems like invisible visited links, inconsistent casing in the thread titles (when creating a thread, the text in the Title input box is in all caps, which leads to confusion and mis-capitalization), and others.

> Things may seem dark now but you are all quick to judge.

If I am too quick to judge because I see no proof of prowess, then what are you if you don’t either (like you said, things are “dark”)?
Are you a potato, or a man?

> As in the way the game played, for example, the betrayals in Living Dead are only just being fixed today, Bungie ignored this, 343 Industries are fixing this, I am saying Bungie handled the game poorly when they had control.

> This is all to do with the forum software, nothing to do with stats, the links as far as I can see, is a forum software problem, the topic capitals is to do with the forum font, easily fixable but both are not top priorities.

> You are too quick to judge because you have yet to see what 343 as a company can do rather than just their web team, once Halo 4 is out, feel free to drop your opinions, you can hardly judge on a game they were handed that they didn’t design, considering that once again, the Service Records are a FREE Service, they are making it better as they go along, most likely on April 1st.

Pretty much sums up my thoughts, to be honest I didn’t make this topic to argue about the pros or cons of this website, I made it to help 343 Industries figure out what medals were missing to add them to the Medals list in a future update.

Lets just hope they can fix the missing medals list and provide a video rendering service soon, because they are the highlights of Halo Reach (apart from killing everyone that is).
Also if they don’t provide a rendering service soon, such channels such as Fails Of The Weak will have to fold as I’m pretty sure their current submission uses rendered bungie.net videos.

***Arena division standings do not show up either. (Even though there is a spot for it, it still does not show anything at all)

They really need to add ammounts of medals that we have. There is no point looking at my medal chest to see that I have a headshot. I don’t care I want to know how many. And what about people who go for laser sprees etc.

Ammounts of medals nao! Please :H

Where do i find killing spree medals? i checked in the all medals section of my service record and their are only Snipers sprees, Hammer sprees and that type of stuff. No Killing sprees or Running riots or any of those medals.

The medals were not added when they updated the site back in November.

It is likely that it will be added on the April 1st update.
