Since 2002 I’ve been a huge fan of the Halo franchise, not necessarily for its multiplayer but for its narrative. To me, it’s highly unique in the science fiction genre because of how the universe is presented on a grand scale, yet the characters are written in a way that grounds the stories being told. Hell, the franchise inspired me to attend UCSD for a BA in Science Fiction Literature/Writing and to work within the games industry, as I do now. The franchise has always meant a lot to me, both as entertainment and personally.
I use to post the articles directly to /r/HaloStory, but have since made a dedicated site. I’m still updating older posts, so if some look wonky that’s why.
I figured I would share this with you all, since the folks over at /r/HaloStory seems to enjoy the articles. Not sure if I should post these here weekly as well, since I’m not sure if that would constitute as “spam.” I’ll have to ask the mods here before doing so.
Anyway, cheers! Hope you all enjoy.
