I just want to have the armor customization from halo reach or halo 4. I want to create my own unique Spartan not run with the same armor everyone else is using. Also buying armor only using your req points or if you prefer the luck factor, you open packs for that armor. Combining req system and halo reach “buy armor with in-game credits.”
I would like this but it’s probably too late to implement in this game. Maybe Halo 6?
Yeah I would love this too and It can’t be that hard to allow us to customize both our shoulders, forearms, chest-pieces etc. It would be really great if they added this in a future update.
Yea honestly I’ve just wanted one uncommon helmet since the launch of the game, and I still have yet to get it through this system. I’d also like the amount of customization that Reach had, rather than this system of just helmets and armor.
Well guys, they are actually working on trying to get the customization functions for arms, shoulders, torso, etc up and working. The code is in the game, but it is flawed. For those who have re-enabled it on the PC by accessing the files have found that it glitches out quite often. They hope to have it done this year, possibly this summer.

Really? Perhaps the Meta really will ride again, assuming we get the Brute Shot in a later update. Please 343? Can we haz Brute Shot?

whats your source on this? i mean like where have u read/heard that 343 plans on acting on this? cuz all i know is that forgers found full armor customisation in h5 forge for pc
Some of the PC forgers noticed that the code for the full customization was being updated here and there, showing some progress, atleast.

You’re serious? Nice, if 343i does this it’s a W for them and me.
I’ve quite enjoyed having the body sets locked together. There were some abominations back in Halo: Reach and I don’t miss throwing up in my mouth a bit before finishing a kill.
It would be fantastic to have more customization again.

Then you can wear your symmetrical armor then. I want to actually use various components to make an armor set in 343’s art style that I actually might like wearing.

If they are updating it, great. I’d love to see it in Halo 5. So many armor sets have a few cool components held back by a couple of unchangeable weak components in the armor, so I’d love an actual mix and match.

If they go through with this, I’d really hope they have a way to “bookmark” a combination, since it’s already tedious enough as it is to recreate a set you ended up liking with just a Helmet/Armor combination.
If they have multiple other pieces to swap in and out, I’d like to be able to fave a setup that I can easily revert to later.

Well you’re in the minority then, cause most Halo fans want this feature back badly, myself included.

The few. The proud. The anti-hodge podgers.
But really, I consider myself a happy minority in this and will be thrilled if 343 maintains this. Though I fully expect them to return to the older set-up, probably the H3 iteration where you can at least modify the shoulders.
Reach’s iteration was simply overkill. Letting players activate a fart cloud, and add a GoPro to their helmet, and have Emile’s knife on one shoulder and Carter’s pauldron on another, and slap on cargo shorts, and carry shotgun shells on their Rolex, and stick on a robot arm…that’s a little much.

Not for me. There’s an old saying “There’s no kind of kill like overkill.” I like to think my armor customization lives on this line every day.

I’m not saying 343 is lazy but 343 is lazy.

One thing I would like to point out is our teased glimpse of the next 2017 update. All we shall were helmets, and we could predict the armors will be made as well. But with such focus on the blast from the past, think it might be possible for them to add the full customization in the next update?
