It is indeed a fuel rod.
Could it be??? yes!!! yes!!! it could = D the fuel rod is back!! ^ ^
meh… didn’t care either way.
Pleas call it a Fuel Rod Canon like it was originally called back in Halo3. Ever since I first heard that guy say Fuel Rod Gun in that Reach vidoc, I’ve always though it sounded stupid. Pleas, call it a canon again.
On topic, yes, I’m happy its back.
OP, add #t=4m49s to the end of your URL.

It was the Fuel Rod Gun first. Sorry.

Canon still sounds better.
OOH! EMP grenade at 11:00!!!
Let’s hope the AI won’t need crutches this time.
By crutches, I mean:
-when their fuel rods slightly home-in on players (in CE, they had spectacular aim. In H2, fuel rods merely had big hitboxes)
-when you try to fight the 2 fuel rod Grunts at the top of the Spire from indoors instead of from outside. They have some degree of omniscience and start firing before you even show yourself
-take minimal damage from splash damage
-bottomless clip
-impossible rof
-impossible accuracy + reaction time. I’ve seen players getting pwned by the Field Marshal on PoA who manages to fire his fuel rods through small gaps…
> OOH! EMP grenade at 11:00!!!
at first I thought it was a plasma grenade but then I looked at the place it landed and saw the emp

How about they call it Fuel Rod Gun like it was called in Halo PC where the gun was first usable?

Why?
It doesn’t make sense, basically calling it “Fuel Rod Story”
Unless, you mean Cannon.* Because, ya’know, that thing that shoots has two Ns in it.
Sorry, Grammar Na…You know…from birth.
Why doesn’t the guy get the option to pick it up?
Yes the fuel rod is like my favourite gun!!! XD
> Why doesn’t the guy get the option to pick it up?
I think it’s because it fell to the left when the player killed him

the fact the grunts are so accurate with it even though its supposed to be heavy is weird
