The actor who says this, the last line of the trailer… why do I think I’ve seen him in BSG before?

It is Lasky. It say’s Lasky on his shirt. Pause the video and look carefully before it goes off camera.

That is Thomas Lasky, the one that FuD follows. He was inspired by the Chief, the Chief saves him. He wouldn’t be mad.
He is a commander aboard the Infinity. He just fought a nearly 30 year long war, where most of his species was wiped out, he lost many people. He is battle-hardened, thats probably why he came out kind of emotionless when listening to the message.
Ironically enough, later than night after the FUD trailer debuted, I was flicking through the TV channels when a Jason Statham movie came on (“Chaos”), and the actor that was at the end of the trailer was in it.
His name’s Tyler “Ty” Olsson.

If I remember right, he was a bit of a -Yoink-, but reformed near the end.

yeah, just off the spoiler bit from SDCC makes me thing the old guy at the end of the trailer is an older version of Lasky and NOT Del Rio. That makes sense now.
