Ft Jordan Tactics

So, with the release of the new map Ft Jordan, thought it would be a nice idea to have a thread unofficially dedicated for various tactics people can come up with. New people can learn from it and the old guard can share their wisdom with others. Personally I have found the Arbiter thus far works well with this map. His phantoms feel more of a viable transport compared to other maps.

Just spam JPB, send through the teleporter, jump up the ledge, and win. As of now that’s not stoppable as far as I know.

Surely you jest? Then again I suppose one could pull that off with enforcers or jump pack brutes too.

Enforcers can’t jump up the ledge, so it takes them a much longer time to get to the base. If they see you coming, they can stop it. The JPB can literally just teleport then jump to the back of your base. Not much counterplay besides sitting there waiting for it to happen, which means you lose the game anyway because you’re forced to ignore everything else.

Hm, I would have thought one could just teleport the enforcers up past the ridge

That would mean getting teleport instead of mines as your first point, which you really don’t want to do. Also, any reinforcements wouldn’t be able to do the same since tele would be on cooldown. Not to mention spending 200 power, then having to spend that every time you want to do that. It’s very inefficient.

Fair point, although I would think there has to be some proper counter.
