Halo 5 has a terrible UI.
Halo 5 has frequently crashed more than any other game on my Xbox. After being in a game the UI menus freezes and I have to wait like 2 minutes for it to come back to life. Also when in a custom game, if a player leaves it makes the whole game freeze for about 5-20 seconds, and I get killed whilst its frozen. Very annoying. Also I’ll sell a weapon that’s worth 200 RP only to have it not give me the RP. Also the UI takes forever to refresh my rank and XP level, as well as my service record. It’s minor but the game crashes so much too, and I am annoyed with it. It’s 2020, make a stable UI.

Yes, it is quite annoying. Not only, but for me, sometimes when I finish a match, I don’t get any of the RP until like 5 matches later.

Same occurrence for me too mate. I hate it when it does that.
I bought an Xbox One X to play Halo 5 without crashing. Hasn’t helped one bit. Happens everywhere: on menus, in ranked matches, in custom games, in searches, and more.
when people leave a game, H5 freezes, once a game ends H5 freezes, H5 will randomly crash… yeah, theres a lot wrong with the UI

I have a One X too, I don’t think it’s a matter of hardware. If it was a hardware issue you’d likely to be experiencing crashing on multiple games.
It’s more than likely a in game coding issue/optimisation issue.
I find the game crashes in the carnage report the most, that’s a super consistent event that takes place, same with the UI freezing.
Sadly it won’t get patched 
Hopefully it won’t be too long til infinite comes out so we don’t have to worry about Halo 5 anymore.

Yep. Runs smoother in gameplay and has better graphics but the UI SUCKs.

Yeah it’s very annoying
The game is so broken from how it was coded I’m glad it still runs.
