Frustrated with my REQ packs

okay I think the idea of REQ packs makes for interesting game play and is a new unique feature to the Halo series. good for you 343. However if you are not a big fan of playing Warzone, I find its a bit frustrating. I would love to get more Armor and customization for my spartan and weapons. I still only have one visor colour, and 3 different options for armor. I wish there was an option to pick the REQ pack to open based on the type of playlist you play…aka arena or warzone. I feel like it is going to take forever to get anything I actually want which is disappointing.

I personally enjoy Warzone… but I do get what you mean. In 1 game of warzone it’s easy to rack up 1,300, 1,400+ in points but in a game of Arena maybe 8 or 900 if you’re lucky… so it takes longer in order to buy REQ packs. I think they should even the playing field a bit on this and even out the points pay out for Arena compared to Warzone.
just my opinion.

They were designed to make you feel that way, unfortunately. They’re hoping that you’ll eventually give in and spent actual cash on a REQ pack after you get too frustrated with getting duds out of regular packs.

If you don’t play Warzone, then just sell every warzone card you get, and you’ll accumulate plenty more REQ points for packs.

Doesn’t the average Arena game take about half the time that the average Warzone game takes?

yes which is definitely a nice option that I do take advantage of. I get that these customization’s are an exciting bonus to get with the REC packs I just wish there was another way to unlock these customization’s.

Yes I suppose you’re right which is disappointing they would take Halo in that direction.

What kind of packs are you getting to only have three armors? Even buying bronze packs I have every common Item in the game except for one AR. Now that I’m getting silvers I have almost half the uncommon items and am starting to get more rare items.

Ill just leave this here.

This is actually a solid strategy, if your opening REQ packs while your playing on you Xbox, if your opening them through Waypoint you cant sell your cards.

I have been buying GOLD packs… I’ve picked up a bit more last night and today. Just have to keep plowing away, just feels like its taking forever to get anything I want unlocked.

this was a good video I will try this.

I’ve only played a handful of Warzone games and i enjoy it but i get bored of doing the same maps over and over again. Personally i found the Snow one (I can’t remember the name) to be absolutely terrible. I also never use vehicles…so usually when i open up a REQ pack i sell all of those so i can rack up the points for Gold packs unless i have a get a legendary vehicle (Which i haven’t gotten yet) I also keep all my weapons at like a steady amount of 10 and sell anything over that amount. I have been able to get A LOT of REQ packs this way and i have almost 20 pieces of armor and like 10 helmets, 6 visors and i’m only level 16. I won’t lie thoungh… I suckered up and bought the Warzone REQ pack though because i hadn’t gotten a stance or an assassination yet and whaddya know! i got one of each in the first week of it.

That’s generally my plan and it works for me. The Gold packs make me feel a lot less cheated but when i get the “certification for weapons” i do feel a little cheated and pissed… just let me level up and get the certification but overall i think just going for gold is worth it.
