I gotta say i’m worried a little on the multiplayer side. In the trailer it showed the plasma pistol being shot and then a follow up with the carbine. This is something i’ve been kinda dreading since i heard the custom loadout ideas. But maybe i’m just freaking out. Thoughts?

I’m not concerned, because it seems that they’ve done a good job at balancing it with the other secondaries.
The plasma pistol charge is much harder to track on a target. You will still have to be skilled to use it. NOTE: I have not played the game just what i saw from video gameplay.

Best to put that in there to shield yourself from the tools that say “oh how do you know you havent played the game yet hurr durr”.

Shouting? Where? I don’t hear any shouting.
I was really worried a while ago when I learnt that Plasma Pistol was a secondary. I thought that everyone would n00b combo all the time. This is not the case. It’s magnetism/tracking is basically non-existent. Not only that, but you can’t hold down the charge and move around the map expecting to not run out of PP charge. If you hold down a charge, the battery drains QUICK. And the charge also blows away a good 10-15% of the battery. So while yeah, if you’re skilled you can combo with it, but it’s not a go to. It’s basically an anti-vehicle weapon and not a killer.
Go play Elite Slayer multiteam in Reach. It’s not bad at all and nothing to worry about. In Elite Slayer EVERYONE has plasma pistols and you hardly ever see them being used.
