Unbind sprint, puts you on rader and reduces your abiity to shoot players who arent sprinting. All sprint does is add around 9% more movement speed, it honestly shouldn’t even be in multiplayer just a noob trap. Why break stealth to move 9 percent faster? Some will say its to slide but that is loud noise pollution and puts you on the radar. The map design isnt like halo 5 with an emphasis on verticality, you do not need to be moving hyper, positioning, tactical and patient gameplay can shine here. Freeing up your bindings will allow you to optimize and streamline cluttered control scheme. Unpredictable Strafing patterns and bunny hoping are king this halo, this is not halo 5 advanced warfare the map design is radiational halo.
Put FOV as high as you can tolerate for your setup.
disable all that motion blur, bloom, chromatic whatever jazz you dont need it.
plz put the game on performance mode and remove the option for multiplayer, just noob bait.
Also if you’re one of those who purposefully uses 4:3 stretch or black bars to lower your FOV and/or increase player model size, just dont… maybe for BTB

Or just learn self-control? It’s not hard to just not sprint constantly.
irrelevant, because when comp mode or HCS playlist comes out, radar will be off regardless. so “coming from a former comp player” i feel like you should have already known this? i smell lies

Strafing is “OP” during a firefight sure… but the slide movement boost is going to be critical for fast map movement at a high level, almost guaranteed… have you watched any of the videos that people are putting out on the movement routes that the slide opens up on Infinite’s maps di far?
And radar is probably going to end up being disabled in esports play like it always is right? So your entire “sprint puts you on radar” point probably won’t even apply to the competitive game play anyway… >.>
I feel like telling new players to unbind sprint is you either totally screwing with them, or you jumping to conclusions that aren’t going to age well.

343 actually likes to start off with radar enabled in compettive play from memory.
Atm i do not think sacrificing total stealth is worth it for a slide. Strafing is too op

Actually theres been many periods radar isnt disabled in competitive play. I have no reason to think infinite will be any different
just sayin, you lack of slide is really gonna hinder you when it comes to overall map traversal in the long run, especially against modern pros or higher ranked players.

This guy is a former nothing. Currently though, he’s a competitive troll. He made a nonsensical post yesterday to troll people for reactions. Just ignore all his posts

I dont think so brothers, total stealth and the element of surprise is extremely important, I do not see myself ever having to sprint or slide in my tactical nuanced way of playing. Modern gaming alot of it is based not only on what you see but what you hear, a loud slide and blip on radar telling everyone where I am is not worth the movement advantage when strafing seems to be the meta at the moment.

link post, i am no troll.
EDIT bro after seeing your posts i do not think this is the post for you with all due respect
XUnknownHitmanX wrote"1 acceleration 1.5 horizontal 1.5 vertical. Zooms start at 0.8 and decrease to .4 at 10x. I know these are crazy low, but at default, I couldn’t hit/track anything and I’m a fairly average fps player. Didn’t expect it to be so difficult.

lol sure man. You keep fluffin yourself up. Im just sayin dont expect to out maneuver players at a high skill level by just walking. Walking will happen a majority of the time, but at higher levels, your gonna get outplayed via slide cancel dodges and slide boosting to gain acceleration
Strafe is also a meta against bots. Thats not saying much
