I hear friendly Spartans saying this in WZFF. What does it mean?
Maybe it’s your Spartan calling out when an ally dies.

He’s talking about what the spartan team mates are saying, and yes “friendly x” means one of your team mates just died.
And go to the x if you can because there maybe a req weapon there to pick up.

Thank you sir but that’s not what I asked. I don’t have the voices pack. Granted I try to tune out non-meaningful voices and sounds while playing but I don’t recall hearing a spartan say that. So I have no idea if that is special to the voices pack.
“Friendly X” is a spartan callout for when one of your teammates has been killed by the hostile enemies
It’s a reference to the little red “X” that appears over your teammates service tag when they die. It essentially means your friend died.
Friendly X’s appear when your teammates get killed. They can also be used to get a rough idea of where the enemy players are, especially if you’re playing in a team.
Sounds like its part of the game no matter the announcer.
People say it all the time. It’s a call-out to where you’re teammate died. You can also say my X.
So like “rocket on my X other team grabbed it” or etc.
It means a teammate has died. Also you can hear this dialogue in all parts of MP when you’re in a matchmaking or custom games.

My mistake, no, it’s a regular thing, voices of war isn’t related to team mates voice clips.

Campaign I can hear all the voices, grunts, marines etc but in match play my mum has to smack my head to get my attention. lol
