So I noticed in the E3 2012 campaign trailer that when chief is walking through the first part of the mission, there is a yellow dot on his radar (specifying a friendly AI or player). Now the chances are it’s just one of those stingray creatures (which is interesting because other animals like Halo: Reach’s Moa did not show up on radars) or is it a marine/personnel from infinity???
It’s weird how the dot disappears at one point before it fully leaves the radar.
> I also noticed that now there are arrows attached to the dots which show if enemies/friendlies are higher, lower or on the same level as you.

After that Elite got desintegrated you can see at the top left of the screen a tiny orb dissapearing, it could be that.

I just presumed it was an “unknown”. Whatever technology is used for Chief’s radar we know what a Covenant signature is; so it comes up as red on the radar. We know the UNSC signature so they come up as green… and everything else is yellow (ie unknown)
