Either turn on friendly fire or disallow all friendly fire on vehicles. It’s ridiculous, especially on Shootout in Valhalla, that I can’t even play the game because two guys spawn camp the Mantises blowing them up whenever they spawn. I had to do the whole level on my own with a DMR, and I couldn’t even leave the ga,e because I had Double XP active. The booting system to this game is broken because of a lack of friendly fire, it needs fixing, badly.
Don’t forget the annoying -Yoink- who always takes the ghost and splatters everyone

I came across this tonight for the first time. Kept getting a flash while I was in the Mantis and then I fell out. Took me a while to realise some git was shooting me instead of the enemy.
Yeah, something needs to be done but turning friendly fire on would make it twice as bad. They should make destroying friendly vehicles a betrayal offence. Not so for empty vehicles though because I have shot the Mantis that was busted all to hell before now in order to get a new one to respawn.

Sorry I am one of those Ghost people.
I now avoid them because it is so much easier to spatter a teammate than a enemy.

You should make it up to him by playing a match and having a good time.
Reach’s firefight was better than spartan ops. Sure it got dull after awhile but it’s not like you had an abundance of vehicles to betray people with and the voices you could purchase are so much better than listening to palmer -Yoink- about everything. Commendations were much more time intensive to max everything out whereas ops just needs a few weeks of grinding to have everything complete.

Easy fix, go do something else that you find entertaining.
Don’t turn on Friendly Fire - just disable it against vehicles as well as Spartans - problem solved.

I came on to write just about this topic. I agree turn on friendly fire or disable Team vehicle damage. It’s a joke playing big team battle without me being in party of friends. EVERY and i mean EVERY single time I am on Ragnorak or Shatter my mantis is destroyed by my “team” because they are crying they didn’t get in it and it seriously ruins my Halo 4 experience. This was never a problem in past Halos due to people actually being booted but in this game I can never boot anyone. Please 343 change this issue it is seriously ruining a lot of players experiences.
OP - In reference to the title… Who says? Obviously 343i doesn’t agree. Maybe you should make a poll to see if others feel the same way.
