it wouldnt be such a problem if my teammates weren’t always trying to kill me. you literally have people throwing in ranked and killing you and tbagging and then you lose rank when you lose bc of it. tf can you do?
AMEN BROTHER!! You don’t need in a friendly game at all. However, if you aree in some type of competition then yes I agree Friendly Fire should be on but not a friendly game!!
In all of my Custom Games I have stupid friendly fire turned off always have and always will

You know what would be nice ( correctly me if I’m wrong ) to go back to the Traditional ways Halo was played. We had Game browser. We had our own dedicated server software. We had awesome forge tools for CE and ECT ECT, We had Elites vs. Spartans. It was just a great way to play Halo.
IMHO and I really believe this that all Halo Combat Evolved, Halo CE All they Really Needed was a face lift. That’s It! Those games above was pretty much perfect.

Friendly fire is there in Ranked so you don’t recklessly nade spam into your team.
It’s already questionable why our normal games don’t have friendly fire, it’s one of the reasons why people get away with so much leeway when practicing bad nade discipline and random rocket shots.

i have no problem with the friendly fire itself. i like it to a degree. but not when people use it to throw and i lose for it.
If you suffer from friendly fire in ranked, you won’t have to for long. Those that team kill (whether intentional or not) will find themselves in lower ranks. Sure, you’ll catch a few odd games where someone decides to just troll for a bit, but will probably be rare. I hardly ever see issues in the mid platinum level.
I think the real issue is that players develop bad habits in social and accidentally carry that into ranked.

The issue is the lack of friendly fire in this game. It needs to be enabled in every mode; not just ranked.

You’re always welcome to play other games if you don’t like Halo’s traditions… But this is something I don’t think 343i will even consider changing.
And knowing it’s been around for 20 years you can’t adapt? Tragic. Sounds like a definite you problem. Never once did I have people team killing cause everyone is trying to rank up.
