Friendly fire in halo 4.

A way to absolutely destroy gameplay is to bring back betrayal booting. Bungie failed at that when they tried to “balance” betraying. 343 should just stay away from betrayal booting or just implement a system that boots you when you betray X amount of people in the game. We don’t need noobs booting people off just because they got in your way.

What if you throw a grenade/shoot a rocket or something and some idiot gets in your way?

Happens to me almost every game, then they boot me thinking it’s my fault.

Agreed. Either kick me after X amount of betrayals (even if they were all accidentally, you’re a detriment to the team if you actually hit this cap), or don’t kick me at all. Never again, should it be in the hands of players.

How’s the betrayal booting system work right now?

but then we get the situation like in zombies where people can betray without any punishment and it’s really frustrating. Perhaps booting wouldn’t be such a problem if the whole game didn’t slow down dramatically. When someone leaves in a COD game or Assassins Creed they don’t have this problem however I don’t know why.

I think booting should be based off of what you do. If somebody straight up beats you down, you should be able to boot. But if they run over just 1 person then no.

But let’s face it, you’ll still run into problems because people are idiots. Just a couple days ago I got in the tank first and like 3 teammates started shooting me to get me killed. So I shot 1 shot and killed on of them, insta-boot. Now they’re gonna lose because they’re 2 people down, and for what, a tank that can respawn? Betraying someone with a tank shouldn’t even be a bootable offense because killing 1 person accidentally is very common.
