Friendly Fire and improved stat tracking

Friendly fire is a staple of the halo franchise and one of the few games that included it in most gametypes including the base game modes.

I hope in future halo games better stat tracking is implemented so a player can see how much overall damage they did to thier own team. How many assists they gave to the OTHER team. And bring betrayal stats back.

This can help people who care improve thier team game skill by being more aware of thier surroundings.

I’m sure betrayal stats were removed to curb hate messages and grieving. I get that. But no one says you cant go beyond the post game stat that covers all players and offer a more detailed and intensive stat breakdown that only I can see when I click on my gamertag that’s locked out to other players. I dont need to see another teammates betrayal. But I do need my betrayals counted and logged

Halo infinite should have it’s own service record in game. You shouldn’t have to go to waypoint for this. This should have a tab for career stats. As well as side by side comparison of last season and the current season so a player who cares, and wants to improve. Can track things like “is my friendly fire improving”. “What weapons do I not use often but seem to get killed by more frequently?” “What is the average time an over shield last for me before I die and how many kills do I average when I’m camouflaged?” If anything the next halo needs to take stat tracking way over the top, beyond the vanilla accuracy and kd or whatever.
